New Belgium Frambozen Raspberry Brown Ale
Raspberry Brown Ale [Type 15] 6.5% ABV
Not as sweet as I expected. A traditional Framboise Belgian style raspberry will be thick and syrupy. This one isn't, it has the same mouthfeel as a normal ale. There is a hint of sour in the beer, with understated raspberries and a bit of that biscuity malt flavor New Belgium has. A deep ruby color. Not much head.

Not really my thing. It's not bad however. It is not sweet like so many fruit beers, which is a nice change. You need to let the beer warm up a bit before the flavor really comes out.
