Chimay Première
Dubbel [Type 43] 7.0% ABV
A shout out to Owen and Aza for giving me this beer, as well as several others that will be appearing in this blog soon. For a dubbel, Chimay Première has a surprisingly light mouthfeel. It is still a dark, yeasty beer, but the more watery consistency sets it apart. Amber color, very cloudy. Massive white head.

Tasty, and a nice change from the heavy beers I have been drinking so much of during the Christmas season. A little caramely, with a very slight bitterness on the finish. Real easy going down.
