Dark Wheat Lager 5.2% ABV

A dark beer for a dark time, with extra malted wheat for body. This beer has ground cinnamon, orange peel, and ginger added to warm you. It has a large, creamy head that quickly dissipates. Definitely not as dark as a dark German beer, I found this to be a bit lighter while still having a satisfying heaviness in the mouth. It is about 52ºF (11ºC) outside at present, perhaps a touch warm yet, but in the right range for this beer.

Rating

A fine beer. I could enjoy it regularly, it has a down home feel to it.
