Vygotsky's Revenge

The Family Social Scientist today told me that the application of psychometrics to education leaves much good work undone, and that it runs against the grain of modern child development theories. He promised to lend me a good book by Lev Vygotsky on the subject. I promise to read it and provide Vygotsky with his say.
